Im currently looking at buying an used 11 Pro Max and this one I am looking at happens to have Apple Care+ on the device. If I end up purchasing the phone do I gain the benefits of Apple Care+ eg. could i get a battery replacement?

If the current owner is paying for AppleCare monthly then it cannot be transferred.
