Do you still have that old Apple ID account?

Check your mail box.

See this Apple article: If you forgot your Apple ID password

Then see this Apple article: What to do after you change your Apple ID or password

What to do after you change your Apple ID or password - Apple Support

Have you deleted it, read the consequence of deleting your Apple ID. -> How to delete your Apple ID account

Have you deactivated it, see -> How to deactivate your Apple ID account

How to deactivate your Apple ID account – Apple Support (UK)

scroll to -> How to temporarily deactivate your Apple ID

Sign in to your Apple ID account page on a Mac, PC, iPhone or iPad. Then scroll down to Data and Privacy, and select 'Manage your Data and Privacy'. On the following page, select 'Get started' under 'Deactivate your account'. If you don’t see this option, it means that this feature is not available in your country or region.

When you request to deactivate your account, you receive a unique alphanumeric access code. Make sure that you keep this access code in a safe place – you must have it to reactivate your account.

After we verify that you are the account holder making the request, we deactivate your account.

If you forgot the access code, try to contact Apple Support -> Get Support (apple.com)

See if you can recover the ID/password. An iCloud e-mail address is an Apple ID. Use every email address you can think of.

Other ways to find your Apple ID

You can check if you're signed in to the App Store, FaceTime, or Messages on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac, or check if you're signed in to iTunes for Windows on a PC. You can also go to iCloud.com or appleid.apple.com and see if your Apple ID prefills on the sign-in screen.

If you forgot the Apple ID (iCloud) password, enter the Apple (iCloud) ID, and click Forgot Password. See if you can get a Rescue or Notification email option if necessary. Link to contact Apple Support at the end of the 2nd article.
