Can Apple Replace Macbook Pro Batteries the same day?

Call your local store and ask them directly about this question— some store do, some don't do it in house;

make arrangement there.

CAUTION:

we are also seeing reports here of users sending in their computers, and having them sit for WEEKS without being serviced due to battery/parts shortages due to supply chain issues.

Be sure to 'do your homework' and make sure they actually have/can get the parts before committing to the repair.

Also: you promise that you have full BACKUPS and they make you sign for that. DO NOT Proceed unless you have a backup -- there is a very small (but not Zero) possibility they may need to "wipe" the drive during the repair process.

Once Apple decided to glue the battery in place starting with Retina Macbook Pros, a one-day battery service became harder to find.

All you can hope is that your Apple store agrees to pre-ordering a complete upper deck assembly( has the new battery attached) that is the right one for your computer and having it available for in-store installation. Other than that, replacement involves you or the store sending the computer to a centralized Apple service center where turnaround is usually fast but shipping time makes anything shorter than five days tough.

Bottom line: only Apple knows and they won't answer this here.
