AppleID Signout on iPhone after changing AppleID Online successfully?

I successfully changed my AppleID before I signed out on my iphone.

Now my iphone will not let sign out of the old AppleID and it only prompts to sign in or turn off find my iPhone with the old AppleID?

Is there a workaround?
