Imovie export fail
When I try to export my IMovie I get an error: RequestedCVPixelForFramereturned: 3 for absolute frame: 8174

The message is telling you that there is corruption at frame No. 8174. Likely it is a black frame. Expand out your timeline with the slider located above and to the right of the timeline and scroll around in the area of frame 8174. Look for black frames, white flashes, artifacts or any other signs of corruption. Remove any that you find.
To locate frame 8174, divide 8174 by the frame rate of the project to find the point in time at which frame 8174 appears. So, if the project is a 30 fps project divide 8174 by 30 to get 272.46 seconds. Divide 272.46 seconds by 60 seconds per minute to get 4.54 minutes as the point in the timeline where frame 8174 is located. Scroll around in the general area of frame 8174 and remove any corruption that you find.
If you want to preserve your original project, then duplicate it and work with the duplicate. That way if you cut out some frames, but it doesn't cure the problem, you still will have your original project intact.
