My iPhone se 2020 screen is freezing, ghosting, letter p sometimes not working. Becoming very annoying. I have factory reset and reinstalled at least 4 times, removed iPhone case, it still does it randomly. All since iOS 15 update, no damage to screen or phone.

Hey Winnersbig,

It sounds like you've tried to restore to factory settings or may have restored from a backup. If you're restoring a backup, it could be restoring the issue again each time. We'd recommend testing this further by restoring to factory settings: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support

Get your device ready
1. Make sure that your Mac or PC is updated. If you're using iTunes, make sure that you have the latest version.
2. If you want to save the information on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod, make a backup.
3. Go to Settings > [your name] > Find My, tap Find My iPhone, then turn it off. Learn what to do for an unresponsive device or one that won't turn on. Get help if you forgot your passcode.

Restore your device to factory settings

1. On a Mac with macOS Catalina or later, open the Finder. On a Mac with macOS Mojave or earlier, or on a PC, open iTunes. Find out which macOS your Mac is using.
2. Connect your device to your computer.
3. If a message asks for your device passcode or to Trust This Computer, follow the onscreen steps. Get help if you forgot your passcode
4. Select your device when it appears on your computer. Learn what to do if your iPhoneiPad, or iPod touch is unresponsive or won't turn on. Or get help if your device doesn't appear on your computer.
5. Click Restore [device]. If you're signed into Find My, you need to sign out before you can click Restore.
6. Click Restore again to confirm. Your computer erases your device and installs the latest iOS, iPadOS, or iPod software.
7. After your device restores to factory settings, it restarts. Now you can set it up as new.

Note: Make sure to backup anything important prior to these steps: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Otherwise, if you've restored to factory settings and set it up as new, but the issue continues; then it would be best to bring in the iPhone SE for an inspection: iPhone Repair and Service As this issue may be hardware related and requires service to solve.

Get prepared for your visit: Get your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch ready for service

Select your region and search nearby for locations: Find Locations

Wishing you safe travels, cheers.

winnersbig,

When you restored your iPhone to factory settings and set it up as new, you'll want to make sure to manually re-download your apps from the App Store with your Apple ID. If you restore an existing backup to your device and the issue persists, then we know it's the backup in itself that's causing your iPhone to behave this way.

If needed, here's how to manually download your apps from the App Store: How to manually update apps on your Apple device - Apple Support

Please keep us posted with the results.

Best regards.
