My iwatch won’t upgrade. It says it needs to be on its charger and it is but still won’t update. What can I do to get my iwatch to update?

Try to update from the watch itself.
Restart the watch.
Place the watch on the charger.
Make sure that your watch is connected to wifi.
On your watch, open the Settings app.
Tap General > Software Update.
Tap Install if a software update is available, then follow the onscreen instructions.
My I watch won’t update it keeps saying it needs to be on its charger and it is so what can I do to update my I watch?
