Has anyone who uses VMWare Fusion to run Microsoft Windows 10 on a virtual machine found that Microsoft Windows Apps are appearing in the Mac Applications. These should be on the virtual machine and not in the Mac Applications file. I now have a couple dozen Windows Apps in my Mac Applications.

Thanks for your quick reply. There are many, I just finished working with John Galt on another issue removing "Search Marquis" which is completely removed and he suggested posting this because the uncertainty goes so deep.
I do use VMWare Fusion to run a virtual machine in order to run Quicken and QuickBooks and thought all those files should be stored on that virtual disc. I also run the same on my iMac and do nit have any of these files in my iMac Applications folder.
I no longer have the "Combo Cleaner" as I removed it this morning at John's suggestion that it might be causing some of my issues.

What apps specifically?
Windows apps will not run on a Mac unless designed to do so and installed on the Mac. Microsoft Office is an example of an app that runs on both Windows and Macs. But you would have to install Office on both in order for it to run when booted into either operating system. If you are running Windows in a VM and you install an app in Windows running in the VM, that app will not run on your Mac if not started from within Windows.
Have you asked this of VMWare support? It sounds like the more likely source is their file structure system.

Should I just put them in the trash and get rid of them or might that be a bad idea?
