Slomo camera

i have iPhone x and my slo mo camera has dark lines running over the screen ! How can I overcome that?

Thanks for your post to Apple Support Communities. We have some suggestions for help with lines showing with your iPhone Camera app. First, let's make sure you don't have the Grid setting turned on.


  • Go to Settings > Camera
  • Disabled (turn off) Grid


Test your camera again to see if the same lines still show. If so, next we'll suggest making sure your iOS is fully updated to iOS 15.5, then restart your iPhone.


Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support


If the issue is still present, try force closing the Camera app, restart your iPhone, then test it again.


Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support


If the issue is still present, reply back and we'll look at other options.
