Unable to connect my Apple Watch with my new iPhone 13.

I see that you are using watchOS 4 so this must be a rather old Watch. When some people are get it to work, it seems to become more and more difficult hooking up older Apple Watches to recent iOS versions and iPhones.
The newest/oldest combo I got to work is an series 0 on an iPhone 6s with iOS 14.
What model of phone is it and what version of ios is it running?
What model of watch is it and what version of WatchOS is it running?.
What troubleshooting steps have you tried?.
What errror messages are you receiving?.
Has this watch ever been paired to another phone?(Very important).
