Can't migrate to Mac "not enough space available"

I am doing migration to a new Mac from my old Mac and getting message that say not enough space available. Can I do two migrations?

Never ever use wiFi for a migration. Also, the new machine should have the same amount of storage or more than the old machine. To migrate reliably and quickly migrate using the old computers Time Machine External Hard Disk. Connect it to the new machine and then launch MA. If you do not have a Time Machine backup of the old Mac then create one today!!!
