I don't know why The Littles does not edit their boilerplate but absolutely DO NOT follow and use the last 3 links in their post they are INCORRECT and have nothing to do with your Face ID (and I have confirmed this with Apple Support) and currently their is a bug where turning iMessage and/or FaceTime on our off can cause the eSIM to fail and you will have to go through the trouble of getting a physical SIM from your cell service provider. The correct procedure from here is to contact Apple Support which has been confirmed by the hosts here.
