Pls confirm if IPhone contacts are saved / backed up even if
iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 15
If you have enough storage on iCloud, then your contacts keep on being synched to iCloud (if you enabled the appropriate option).
Check your contacts on iCloud, by opening this website on a computer:--> www.icloud.com and enter using your Apple ID & Password.
iPhone is not backed up for a long time? Perhaps you are underestimating the risk of not having a recent full backup of your device. Be careful.

Only if you have
Settings -> Apple ID -> iCloud -> Contacts
set to ON.
Pls confirm if contacts are always saved on iCloud even if user has not subscribed to iCloud storage ( paid service ). Thanks
