How can I remove search marquis from MacBook air?

I've seen similar browser redirects pop up the past couple days that keep an OP from getting to the MW site.

My first consideration and suggestion would be to use a different browser but I'm unsure that would work on a compromised machine and I don't know if it would be reliable.

Thanks for your response. What I ended up doing was to just open my browser and type in malwarebytes.com and got the free trial version. That seems to have helped.

In my MacBook Air 10.13.6 Firefox is also infected with search marquis!
