Yes, cabled headphones like EarPods are compatible with Apple Music lossless. For hi-res lossless audio (over 48 kHz an external DAC is required).

Gapless looped playback not working after iOS/iPadOS 16.2 update I am using the Apple Music app on both my iPhone XS and iPad Pro 10.5". When I set the playback mode to "Repeat 1" and listen to any track that should loop seamlessly (for example, a continuous rain sound), there is a 1 second gap when the track restarts.
