Trust certs are not a thing you have to collect. They are gathered and put to use during the routine regular use of the iPhone.

If you keep the iOS updated as security and features updates are released, then your iPhone will be a safe as Apple can make it.

But it's up to you to do that manually, or let the iPhone do it automatically.
