Deleted Playlists Reappear and Recent Metadata Changes to Files Revert to Their Previous State Following iCloud Sync.

Nothing I do on the Music app on my MacBook Pro (late 2019) "sticks" after it updates the cloud library after I’ve made changes. Deleted playlists reappear, changes I make to metadata of my own music files revert to their previous states. The only data that seems to stick is the number of plays and the date of how recently files have been played.

I am a musician and composer and I use the Music app to keep details about my own productions and this is a major stumbling block for me. I’ve only had this issue I believe in the last month or so.

MacOS: 12.3.1

Thanks for your helpful reply Jim. Do you know of any "Recent Apple OS Known Issues" list that I can look up in the event of something like this happening again. These software type issues do crop up from time to time and it can be a very frustrating waste of time to try to troubleshoot myself if there is no possible user solution until the OS is fixed!
