Deleting programs in OS X

How do I uninstall and reinstall FaceTime from MacOS X Big Sur v11.6? I have tried to do what Apple suggest on this page and it does not work.

how to remove facetime from my Mac and other devices I would like to remove Facetime or at the very least disable it so that it never ever goes on. Everytime some tries to facetime me, the application craps out and I have to restart my computer. I cannot unfortunately tell people not to use facetime to contact so I would like to remove it or disable it permanently.

How to delete Facetime? I want to make sure this app never runs again on my Macbook. Is that possible? Also, is it even legal to make such apps hard to uninstall? (Still hope it's possible somehow).

Apple apps cannot be removed You have to reinstall the OS if you feel something is wrong with this app.
