Apple Maps with coordinates.

Hi. ever since the iOS 15 update, when I go use coordinates on Apple Maps, and they aren’t on an exact road, I get an error message saying “ a route can’t be shown because of a problem connecting to the server”.

before the update it would take me to the nearest street and say “you will have to walk to your destination” and now it doesn’t even give me a route or anything just an error message.

I work on oil wells and get them in coordinate and they are usually on dirt roads not main roads so I’ve been having to use google maps since and I do not like it! Any help will be appreciated.

Hey Gil661,

The error you're seeing may indicate a network issue. For instance, are you in an area where you don't get a solid Wi-Fi or cellular connection? If this feature works in an area where you know the network to be sound, the location is likely the issue.

If the issue appears to be an error with Maps, you can report the incident using these steps: Report an incident in Maps on your iPhone - Apple Support

Take care.
