iOS 15.5 Update + Battery issue
I updated my iPhone XR to iOS15.5 this morning and now when I plug in the charger the battery makes a whistling/sizzling sound

The battery doesn't have a speaker built-in to it, but your iPhone does. As your iPhone is making an unexpected sizzling sound when plugging in the charger, then we don't recommend charging it any further. We do recommend contacting Apple Support here as the next step: Get Support
