Battery capacity

Hello guys ! Please, help, if someone have been faced with such situation. I'm user of macbook air m1, and few days ago I decided to check my how is my battery doing, and I'm was literally shocked, cause just for 74 charging cycles battery capacity fallen to the 97%, such type of made upset, but when I've seen that in CoconutBattery things are getting worse I was truly depressed. Is this is only my problem or someone faced it too ?

If you truly believe that this is an issue, contact Apple Directly ( Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support ) or set up a Genius Bar appointment at the nearest Apple Store or at the nearest Apple Authorized Service Provider and have the Mac evaluated.

FWIW, rechargeable batteries can lose some initial charge quickly and the last for a long time at that level before losing capacity, some will hold initial capacity for a long time and then start to lose capacity, some will start slowly losing capacity from day one, and any other possible combinations you can think of.  It is just the nature of rechargeable batteries.

Mine lost a fair amount initially and was been sitting at that capacity for over a year now.

I have had a similar situation recently.

I am using my M1 Pro 14" MacBook Pro, since its launch day (Oct 26, 2021).

Before upgraded to macOS Monterey (12.4), my battery maximum capacity was around 98%.

Just for a month, the battery maximum capacity dropped from 98% to 95%. So far, the battery has completed only 68 charge cycles.

I still have no idea the cause of such a drop. Though I realised Firefox is frequently the software that uses significant energy, I have been using Firefox since day one. Firefox doesn't seem to be the cause.
