DCIM folder not viewable on Windows 11

ThisPC > Apple iPhone > Internal Storage .... no other folders.

When the USB cable was plugged in for the first time, a very quick message popped up "Allow", but the 5 seconds is not long enough to enable this. Now it is not recognising the USB device & my iPhone. I have restart the computer - no luck.

Help please, I just want to be able to see my photos on my iPhone13.
