Replacement needed for replacement AirPod

If Apple sends me a faulty AirPod replacement, do I need to pay for the second replacement?

You should contact Apple Support using the 'Get Support' link at the top-right corner of this page. If the replacement is indeed defective, I can't imagine there would be a charge.
