Macbook air m1 screen crack

My macbook air 2020 which i bought in December 2021 has got the infamous screen crack from inside the glass. This happened all of sudden when i closed the lid and 5 minutes later i open it and i see the screen has cracked from inside. There is no sign of any scratches or dents on the body or display. Apple authorized resellers operating service centres(We dont have Apple service centersin India) are refusing to replace / repair it in warranty. They are giving execuses that if there was one crack they would have done it but there are two one of which only they are able to see. Moreover they are blaming me even though there is no sign of rough usage.


Should I file a case against them in consumer court.

That's 100% your call. But as long as Apple can show they treated you no differently than others, which they are not doing ... they're treating you the same, you don't have a case in my opinion.


But it's you time, your trouble and your expenses if there are any. So, go for it and let us know how it turns out.

I’m sp disappointed in Apple right now. I was using my MacBook till 6pm yesterday , shut it and it was kept next to me. I opened it at 11pm and suddenly translucent lines and one crack shows up. I immediately went to the service centre but they started blaming me, that I must’ve kept something in between while shutting it down which I didn’t. Why am I supposed to pay for something which didn’t happen because of me?
