New iOS 15.5 update Frozen on Apple screen

So last night around 10:30pm I decided to do the apple iOS update at work. It’s now 12:49 pm the next day and it’s still stuck on the Apple screen. I looked up error issues. Done the hard reset on my phone a million times. The apple turns off and comes right back. We turned the phone off completely and it came back to the apple logo. Had to purchase a laptop to access iTunes. And it’s now in recovery mode.. is anyone else having these errors. Problem is still not resolved.

Does the process ever complete with iTunes restoring your iPhone, or does it stay on the screen in the image you posted? It can take time for the software to finish downloading and then installing.
