IPhone 7 microphone not working

I noticed my iPhone 7 was not letting me use voice to create a text message or search the web. I checked microphone options and everything looks like it is supposed to. Operating system is upgraded to the current version. I saw something that said to try to reset network settings. I did that and the microphone allowed me to voice text for a little bit and then it went away again. I tried to network reset again, but that didn’t help. I attempted a small video to see if it captured audio, but it didn’t. Also cannot make or receive calls with no microphone. Anyone have any suggestion? Thanks.
