Locked Notes

So I have tried every password I can think of for the past 10 years that I’ve written down on a scrap paper to try to get back into these two notes and I cannot I reset my password to iCloud for the new notes I didn’t know it was going to not unlock the old notes. What I’m reading is that there is no way to access these old notes. Am I correct? I feel sick I feel so sick I can’t believe this is happening to me. I had a stroke and facial recognition didn’t work anymore and I don’t remember the password.
