Concerned about phishing

I got a googleusercontent link from a friend of mine. I clicked it thinking it's safe, however I did some research and apparently this site has been used for malware before.

It switched to safari when I opened the link, and a download prompt for an image came up.

I didn't download it though.

Should I be concerned? Another friend of mine recently got hacked, and I've become a bit paranoid since then.

I don't have any recent backups so I don't want to reset my device.

Thanks in advance!

Keep the iPhone updated to the latest iOS always and never Jailbreak. That's it.

iOS / iPadOS devices cannot be infected with Viruses / Malware / Spyware if it is updated to the latest iOS/iPadOS unless you have intentionally downloaded spurious software or unauthorized apps directly from the internet and installed them on your device or/and have Jailbroken.
