Beats pro fit catches lots of wind with anc mode even

I have issues with my Beats pro fit when biking with even moderate amount of wind.

While listening too music which sounds great the anc functionality does not manage well the wind reduction. But all other atmospheric sounds are filtered out. So are there any tuning options to filter out sounds from the wind like in ?? : http://www.ica2016.org.ar/ica2016proceedings/ica2016/ICA2016-0444.pdf

I owned similar devices from other manufacturers but this one is the worst on reducing wind!

If not fixed in a firmware soon I will send them back within the 30 days term to the reseller.

Hi vallie,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities! Since you're having issues with noise cancellation, try a different Noise Control mode to see if it helps:

  1. "Open Control Center on your iOS or iPadOS device.
  2. While wearing your Beats Studio Buds or Beats Fit Pro, touch and hold the volume slider until you see the additional controls.
  3. Tap the Noise Control button  in the lower-left corner.
  4. Tap Noise Cancellation, Transparency, or Off.

You can also switch between listening modes in Settings:

  1. On your iOS or iPadOS device, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
  2. Tap the More Info button  next to your Beats Studio Buds or Beats Fit Pro in the list of devices.
  3. Under Noise Control, tap Noise Cancellation, Transparency, or Off."

These steps can be found in the article Beats Studio Buds and Beats Fit Pro Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode. Changing the mode may reduce the wind interference that you're currently experiencing.

You may also want to do an Ear Tip Fit Test to ensure you have the best fit for your Beats. Find more information about that here: Use the Ear Tip Fit Test for your Beats Fit Pro.

Hope that helps!
