which is the latest macbook model that run macOS Mojave

I have a MacBook Pro, 2016 that have screen- and keyboard issues and I am thinking of buying a newer one. But I have due to my bank of programmes to run my computers on macOS Mojave and no later OS.


I have heard that newer MacBooks (pro or air) do not allow downgrades.

Which is the latest model that I can run Mojave on without problem?


Or can I without problem buy a new (2021, 2022) macbook ad just erase the computer with the disc tool and replace it with the Mojave OS from Time Machine?

No Mac can run an OS that predates its release. For example, Mojave cannot be installed on the '21 Mac that ships with Monterey.


The newest MacBook Pro or MacBook Air that can run Mojave will be a 2019 model.
