my iphone was stolen. its saying offline for 48hrs now. how can i recover the location?

The phone must be on and connected to the internet in order to indicate its location. Check this link...

If you have installed iOS 15, you may be able to find the phone even if it is turned off. I can't find Apple's link, but this article explains...

Apple says a fone can be tracked whilst off and not connected to internet... now im bein told otherwise
