Attaching powered studio monitors to G5

I have just installed Final Cut Studio 5 on my brand new Power Mac G5, and of course, I want to hear audio, so I thought I'd steal the pair of Tapco studio monitors I've been using with my audio recording setup. Basic question: What kind of connection do I use to connect these speakers to my computer? Do I have to go through a mixer? If so, what audio out do I use? Is there a site with basic configuration info.?

Thanks.

What type of connection is on the back of the speakers? 1/4", TRS? If so, then your probably going to need a firewire or PCI audio box that has 1/4" outs. If you just want to test it out, you could probably connect a stereo mini to rca cable from the g5's stereo mini output then get a couple rca to 1/4" adapters to go into the speakers. It's definitely not the best setup but it'll let you test things out.
