I am trying to migrate my old iMac data and files to another iMac. It keeps telling me that there is not enough space but I only have 350Gb on a 1Tb drive on the old Mac and a 2Tb Fusion drive on the new one. Why isn't it working please?
Check in Disk Utility on the Mac for available disk space. Generally, MA is correct in its space availability figure and the user is unaware of exactly what space is actually being used.
Fo instance, you may have a 12GB OS installation file in your Applications folder you are unaware of.
