If 2 people are using an iPad how can I keep my financial sites private?

An iPad is a single-user device. 

Unlike other computers with which you may be familiar, that support multiple user profiles - other than “managed” educational environments - iOS/iPadOS devices are not intended to be shared.

The only way to avoid personal, sensitive or financial information being visible or potentially accessible to others is to ensure that the iPad is secured with a Passcode that is known only to you - the “owner” (i.e., single User) of the iPad.

The device should also be signed-in to an AppleID account that is used by you - and you alone.

You don't. ipad are made for single users not multiple, like a pc or mac.
