Black border

My iphone x has a black border around my screen and technically it blocks the sides because of its width. I think it’s thicker than the original black border.

Is this Normal?

  1. The "grey thing" when you are scrolling is a scroll bar and that is normal for it to appear while scrolling.
  2. The grey circle that is in your screen shot is due to the AssistiveTouch feature being set to ON. To turn it OFF, open Settings ➡️ Accessibility ➡️ Touch ➡️ AssistiveTouch: Set this to OFF.
  3. It also appears that you may have Zoom set to ON on your screen which is taking up the space around your keyboard, for example. Open Settings ➡️ Accessibility ➡️ Zoom: Set this to OFF.
