Activation Lock is an anti theft protocol and can't be bypassed. The person who's account the phone is locked to is the only one who can't unlock it. Ask the person you bought it from to either unlock it or get your money back.

Do you recognize the email address it's partially showing? Is that your email address?

If it is your email address, then follow the instructions I posted on how to remove Activation Lock.

If it's not your email address, then the store sold you a used, locked phone and you will need to take this issue up with them.
