What is iOS Account Manager?

Hello there, I was checking my google account security settings and I found out that "iOS Account Manager" is connected to my account but I've no idea what it is. I tried to log out from my account on my iPhone but when I log into YouTube it still appears (so it might can be related to yt but idk why). I also logged into safari and when I check for new logins in my google account setting it just says that safari is connected. You guys have any ideas on what this account manager is? sorry for my bad english.

This is a very serious issue. I have the same happening and I know I have been forcibly, against my will, placed under some monitoring/management/restrictive/supervised closed and hidden network of some kind. It’s a kind of intervention program. I have been battling for 2 years to work it out/escape from the clutches of these insipid, incessive, spineless cowards who have done this. I have a list of names and any one, or more of the perpetrators are on it. I have a plethora of evidence, it’s just where to take it is what I am being careful with. This is a nasty, evil and systematic program inflicted on innocent victims like myself and many others. There is sinister access to your devices/accounts etc, believe it! I have had a developer in my phone, continual resets, system settings being changed, Telstra cases are immediately closed, ios software code is modified, extra trust certificates are installed, text in search fields written by remote access, Google remote desktop even installed itself, remotely on a clean computer after signing into a Gmail account. That is just a pinch of what I have experienced. This is very sophisticated, top authority level access and those inflicting it have absolutely no regard for peoples or small childrens welfare. You can’t trust any App, the copius alerts that pop up on screen, or anything really to be legitimate.

And so far I have been able to receive zero assistance, only to be gas lighted. It’s abhorrent! Seek high level professional paid help, but be careful as a rep from Apple advised me. All the very best of luck and please post any developments you may fortunately have as I will……

Lawrence, I have threatened that exact motion, practically word for word on many occasion. Unlike these oxygen thieving parasites, I have a spine and will not allow them to cowardly steal my basic human rights, my business, my freedoms from behind the false security of their screens. My day will come, patience is a virtue, and justice will be final.

P.S. The only trolling of interest to me is for Spanish Mackeral

Is your device in YOUR name or someone else’s?? If for instance a spouse has the account & purchased you a device, it’s technically theirs & you are a user of THEIR device. Therefore what no one tells you is they are allowed to enroll/manage that device with MDM & you like me will not even receive notifications, just hints here/there. It’s underhanded & abusive to your privacy but not illegal. As far as help, there is none bc you don’t own it. The only solution is to get your own device in your name only on your own account, then it’s illegal. Sad truth & shouldn’t be allowed but companies don’t want you knowing this loophole exists. JAMF is one mdm to look into. You may be enrolled as a student or a minor or just as a user & them owner/admin.

Fitchic15,

What if a friend purchased a iPhone for me and I have my own phone bill for the number that’s attached to the device but the device itself and all payments are on her bill and she makes all payments? Is it ‘her’ device? How, if codes etc, come to me and my device could she possibly enroll/MDM? Thank you for the mention,

I appreciate knowing this. It makes total sense but I just didn’t think it though.

I was personally placed under device management. When I would go to reset my phone it would ask for permission from the original device. But nothing popped up on my screen on my phone. Then on the computer the reset would cancel so I was unable to reset even through the phone as soon as it reset it would download something immediately and go into a different mode. They got a hold of my Snapchat and almost instagram. Lost my iCloud account. All my photos because I had to change numbers and get a new phone which was covered through Verizon insurance. They literally said my phone was hijacked, and there was nothing they could do other than replace mine.

The Apple Configurator requires that the Mac be logged into your Apple ID, or that your iPhone have an MDM profile. So unless your Apple ID has been compromised or you have such a profile it is a non-issue.

To check if you have an MDM profile: Go to Settings/General/VPN & Device Management. If you don’t see a profile you don’t have one.

To see who has access to your Apple ID→Checklist: If you want to see if anyone else has access to your device or accounts - Apple Support. If you see anyone you don’t recognize you can remove them. And also then review→If you think your Apple ID has been compromised - Apple Support

iOS account manager has nothing to do with either of the above. It is a Google app that coordinates activities between the Google apps on your iPhone (Google Maps, Google Search, Youtube, gmail, Waze, Google One, Google Photos, etc) so you don’t have to log in to each one individually.

Sounds almost exactly what’s been happening to me since my last breakup. I can’t control anything yet am in control of everything apparently. With the exception of apps like this one and a dozen others. I. Cannot control my computer, Domain, google and Amazon accounts or any electronics that I own that access the Internet etc…..yet not one of my kids multiple electronics have ever been affected by it. My bank account has been hacked three times amongst many other problems. I’m sure it does not help that my ex is a forensic auditor for Verizon and therefore can access anything and everything. Couldn’t get Google or Apple to help me for months until I gave up. Not sure if this is one of the apps contributing but it sure does look like it in my opinion.
