What is iOS Account Manager?

Hello there, I was checking my google account security settings and I found out that "iOS Account Manager" is connected to my account but I've no idea what it is. I tried to log out from my account on my iPhone but when I log into YouTube it still appears (so it might can be related to yt but idk why). I also logged into safari and when I check for new logins in my google account setting it just says that safari is connected. You guys have any ideas on what this account manager is? sorry for my bad english.

You still here right?

The person to who you replied has not been seen in this thread since September 15, 2022.

As has been explained numerous times in this thread, iOS Account Manager is a Google app that coordinates the interactions between the Google apps you have on your phone, so you don’t have to sign into each one separately, and data you enter in one will be available to the other Google apps on your phone.

If you would be so kind as to give a look to my response directed towards Mr. Finch. As I continue to work further into this thread it would have prudent to add your name to my response as the exact behavior described in my comment to Mr. Finch is being displayed by yourself. The incessant use of dismissive words, repeatedly, in addition to the undertones of frustration and hasty loss of composure is as much of a red flag as disgraceful, vindictive ruse that fools few readers here.

I really have no idea what you're talking about. You do not appear to have posted in this thread before so there is nothing for me to look at. You are certainly entitled to your opinion about how I (or Mr. Finch) answer things. If you don't like what we say, please, please, feel free to ignore us. I promise our feelings will not be hurt. And I will feel free to ignore your tone-trolling.

According to Google Support regarding “What is iOS Account Manager”:

”Do you mean 'iOS Account Manager'? If so, you'll need to seek support from Apple, as that is a system used by Apple to remotely manage devices via a company account. You may have been issued the device by a company or school, where the Admin there can advise you more about these settings.

If you have acquired a device, that already has a 'iOS Account Manager' installed, then you need to ask the provider of the device to remove the management, or to arrange a return and request a refund.” [Source]

Given the vast amount of unanswered and locked questions on the Google Community asking the same question, and the absence of an official statement by Apple on the origin of the application it should be regarded as suspicious.

If you are seeing Google Workspace imagery and references related to InteractiveLogin, ServiceLogin and Google API when logging in or using their services and you do not have a subscription with them then, you should raise this them via their social media account on X/Twitter (as there is no other way to contact them since you probably don’t know who is the Administrator).

I am having the exact same problem, and performed a google search on the topic, and ended up coming across your post.

I don’t see an app located in the App Store for iOS account manager, and neither Apple or Google seem to be able to provide an answer.

Additionally, when I login to my Google account and perform a security check, click on devices, all I see is an extensive list of multiple sessions tied to iOS account manager. I sign out of each session but continue to come across the same issue.

if you or anyone else is able to help, or can provide some feedback on this matter please let me know.

Thank you,

Brandon
