after the last update my iphone is missing some notes. anyone else have this issue? is there a way to recover them. Not in my iCloud either

Troubleshooting Lost Notes:

A. Access Restrictions:

Does someone else have access to your devices and you account? Or is this always stored in a private location? IF someone else has access to it, then they could be accessed.

B. Where to Go:

• Start Here: If you're Missing Notes on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
• iCloud in Settings: Look in iCloud settings in each device, and make sure that Notes is clicked. If it is, then unclick it, and then click it again.

C. Apple Contact Info:

• Contact Us - Choose Locations
• Proceed from there, as necessary
• Why the Wait: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)

Exact same thing happened to me. I have no notes from 2021 or 2022. There is no "recently deleted" folder, nothing in my iCloud. They are gone. I am really hoping they get a fix on this ....

I don’t have any of my notes… not in icloud or on my phone. Storage was almost full for some time… but I tried to even restore from last backup and my phone says it hasn’t been backed up ever. That’s 100% false, still need to check my computer but it’s not looking great. There’s no recently deleted tab either, and I know I didn’t delete anything/it would be hard to accidentally do that. It was completely wiped, “folders” in the notes app was simply wiped…
