Every time I try to download a free app it says "Payment not completed".

Every time I try to download a free app I've been trying to download, it says Payment not completed.

What do I do to stop this and actually download an app please?

Hi - thanks for the responses.

I have updated my payment method and it's still saying the same thing - I really don't get it?

Please help!

You may need to have a payment method on file, even if the app you want to download is free.

Check which payment method you have on file 

 

Or Sign in to your Apple ID account page and edit / update your Apple ID details.

https://appleid.apple.com

On the Sidebar click Payment methods -> then tap Payments Methods and tap Manage payment method.
