How can I find out if someone is tracking me with a AirTag?

So I got a message on my iPhone saying pairing with AirTag my chick has a iPhone also, so does this mean she tryed to use a AirTag on me?

No. If it said Pairing with an AirTag, it means your phone was attempting to actually connect to and setup an AirTag, not that that particular AirTag was following you. What were you doing when you got that message?


If you share an Apple ID, and she paired it to her device, then you may get the pairing message too. Apple ID's should not be shared.

Or if there was an AirTag nearby in pairing mode, your phone may have detected it and offered the option to Pair with it.


Either way, this has nothing to do with being followed, it has to do with setting up an AirTag for use.
