Sync iPhone calendar with Outlook

Double check that the default calendar is outlook.

I have the same problem as pensivedoc above. I can usually create a new event on the Calendar on my iPhone XR and it will then appear on my laptop. This has stopped working, even though I can still do the same thing in reverse, i.e. I can create an event on my laptop and it appears on my iPhone Calendar.

How do I fix this?

I also have this problem with both the calendar and contacts not syncing from the iPhone to Outlook on the PC.
