This camera has been available for a few months and seems like it should be supported just the same as its predecessors but Finder will not render a preview image of ORF files for the OM-1. ORF files for the E-M1 and E-M10 work just fine.

The TG-5 has been out a lot longer, and it is not supported.
I would not hold my breath and make other arrangements.
We're users just like you and have no more access to Apple's plans than you do. We'll all just have to wait and watch.
There's no telling but I wouldn't expect support until macOS 13.0 is released, if then.
When will the Olympus/OMDS OM-1 be supported?
