iPhone battery

Went to Apple in, La Cañada Marbella Spain. With a reoccurring issue with my, iPhone 12 Pro Max’s battery health. I which with only a few months old, my iPhones dropped 3% in battery health. 3% may seem little but does not reflect, the difference in battery lasting the day, which it never can.

To me the Apple Store seem to give me all the excuses to justify, why the battery health was losing it’s strength.

For example;

I’m using the phone too much, which I don’t understand. My previous phone iPhone 6 much smaller battery than my iPhone 12, did not drop a %, after 3 years of use.

Next example;

I charge my iPhone too many times throughout the day, again I don’t understand. I charge the phone when the charge level is low.

If they explained all of this before I purchased the phone, I probably wouldn’t of upgraded my iPhone.

They also said the iPhone had 2 years warranty, to today to find out, that the iPhone has 2 years but the battery only 1 year. Even though I’ve had battery issues with this phone, since the first year of purchasing this model iPhone.

No matter how I explained my feelings and my faith, towards this issue on this iPhone.

My feelings has gone as far as to, that this apple product would now be the last I ever purchase. In which I did make it known to the staff member who attended to me, but didn’t seem to care..

Its sad to say. If this Apple Store is a reflection of all the Apple stores and the company in general, then it seems like their more interested in their profit margins than their customers satisfaction…

Batteries degrade over time with usage, that's just how they work. If your iPhone 6 didn't show degradation after 3 years, then there was something wrong with the battery being read.

You can expect about a 1% drop per month with average use on an iPhone.

Apple recommends replacing it when it reaches 80%. To check your battery health, go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health.
