Apple Watch SE - Epoxy Sticker Hack for tattoos?

Can anyone confirm if the Apple Watch SE will work for tattoos using the epoxy sticker hack? ie. will stop if from continuously locking and still allow for reasonable functionality - whilst still also being able to charge on the charger?

I bought the 7 and can confirm this hack did not work, however it did work for an old 3 I tried, I heard it worked up to number 5? The sensors on the back of the SE look similar to the 4 so I wondered if anyone could confirm?
