So basically I turned on my MacBook charger for a whole night and I am not sure whether or not I should use it considering the fact that I just realized and turned the charger off and have it right next to me what should I do?
What is your concern? You can leave the charger in as long as you like. My MacBook is plugged in nearly all of the time.
For over two years, I've left my MBP on charger 24/7 as it's in a desktop role now.
Battery circuitry will take care of your battery's needs. Its health is still good and on battery alone runs long time.
There is nothing to worry about.
