Alarm sound falls back to default when a song is chosen from apple library

I configured my alarm with song from my apple library. It plays the song when I choose it (click checked) and no issues In playing . After saving the alarm for certain future time when the Alarm plays it does NOT play my chosen song but plays the default tone. I tested several times with different songs and behaviour is same and it seems to be a bug to me. Pls provide resolution for the same.

Hey there rajaneesh32,

Since running into this issue, have you had a chance to completely delete the alarm then create a new one for the same time? If not, go ahead and give this a try, using an Apple tone in the app instead. You can set the alarm for a few minutes in the future to test if it works properly. If it goes off without any issue, change the alarm sound to the one you prefer and test again. You'll also want to check the alarm volume. The steps below will help:

Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics.
Under Ringer and Alerts, drag the slider left or right to set the volume. As you drag, an alert will play, so you can hear how the volume changes.
Turn on Change with Buttons to use the volume buttons on your device to change the alarm volume.
