Siri Watch Face not playing friendly with Outlook Events

I use the Siri watch face to keep track of a whole bunch of things, but especially my calendar and reminders at work. Because of a change in policy at work I’m no longer using stock iOS mail/calendar/contacts app but I’ve been switched to the iOS Outlook app which works ok.

Now here’s my problem: while the Outlook app shows up fine on the watch, and events display in the large complications for other Watch faces, nothing comes through to the Siri watch face. I followed another thread and dug into the Clock menu to toggle ON Outlook as a data source, but it was already ON. What am I missing?

Thanks for the help.

Hi james.myid,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you've tried some great troubleshooting so far. Since this is a third-party app, you may need to get in touch with them directly. However, we did find the following Microsoft article that might help- How do I get Outlook information to show up on the Watch face (i.e. show up as a Complication). There's also a note at the bottom of that page that might explain your results, "We currently don't support mail information in the large complication or calendar information in the small complication."

Take care.

Thanks faith185. I did see that Microsoft post earlier and while correct, it doesn’t fix my particular problem. I’ve already set Outlook as the source for ‘Today’s Date’ for the small complication on the top left side of the Siri clock face screen. What’s missing however is ‘events data’ on the large dynamic main screen of the Siri clock face. No solution I’ve tried so far has fixed that problem.
