I am charged for service after I purchased the Apple One bundle

I signed up for the Apple One bundle and was under the impression that I would get a free month. Come to find out, I was charged for my individual services (storage and music), and I was charged for the Apple One service the same month that I signed up. I don't believe that I received my free months, and the other services were not notified to stop billing individually.
