Mac OS 11.6.6 Macbook Air
In apple Mail Toolbar, after I customise and add search option on the toolbar, I find that a border around search option would have been helpful, since the present border around search option is so thin grey, it is almost not visible.
If there is any way to customise the border around search option in toolbar, please inform.

As far as I know, there exists no option to alter that.
Try using the Dark Mode along with Increase contrast and Reduce transparency enabled in the System/Accessibility/Display preference pane.
I also use the Dark Reader extension in Safari. My eye condition can't handle the bright white background of the Lite Mode.
The only idea I have is to turn on Increase Contrast in the Accessibility System Preferences (Display).
